Advice for High School

My dad and mom gave me some great advice for high school so i'm setting my standards high because they both did really good in high school.

My dad told me to get all of my work done on time because if  I don't it will be a zero and I will get a bad grade. Second he told me to always try my best so i will get better grades.

My mom said to not hang out with people that are a bad influence on me because it will distract me from my school work. She also said to not do drugs because I could get into a lot of trouble.

School in a Perfect World

In my perfect school I would not have any presentations, I understand that they are important but it can put a lot of pressure on kids. Most of the time presentations are a really big part on our grades and some people don't like talking in front of class and that leads to people and getting nervous. If we did have to do presentations I think that we should have smaller classes to do it front of or just do it one on one with your teacher and that might release some of the stress. The second one would be smaller classes so the students and teachers get more one on one time. This would be better because the teachers could help us more if we didn't understand something very well. It could help take stress away from kids because sometimes they don't like to ask questions in class because they could be embarrassed to ask in front of all the students but with less kids they maybe more open to asking questions which I think is very important.
The last thing is that I think that grades shouldn't be based on our homework assignments. I think that it should be based on or behavior and participation. Some students don't understand how to do homework assignments and they try to do them and they fail them and they end up getting bad grades for them. I think that kids would do a lot better in school if grades were based on behavior and participation because they might pay attention more. That's my idea of a school in a perfect world.

I believe...

I believe that I can accomplish anything as long as I put my mind to it. If  I have been working really hard on something and for a really long time and I finally accomplish it, it feels great to know that i succeeded. Some people don't accomplish what they want to and that is most likely because they don't believe in themselves.

It's not always easy trying to accomplish things but you always have to work really hard. It just doesn't happen right away it take time and patients. I always try to give everything  I do 100% effort.
I always want to do my best in school which means I have to get my homework done even if a friend asks me if I  want to hang out. It's not always easy for me to say no but, homework comes before fun and games.

If people say you can't accomplish something they are wrong because you can achieve anything as long as you give it your all. Sometimes you are going to get to points where you want to give up but don't because  you might regret it in the future. I  have given up at a lot of things cause i didn't believe i could do it and now i regret not doing it. Just remember that everything is possible just believe in yourself .:)

If i had to cure one disease it would be  crohns. Crohn’s disease is a disease that causes inflammation, or swelling, and irritation of any part of the digestive tract also called the gastrointestinal  tract. The part most commonly affected is the end part of the small intestine, called the ileum.

facts about Crohn's disease:

  • It was named after Dr. Burrill B. Crohn, who first described the disease in 1932
  • it isn't contagious
  • Crohn’s disease may affect as many as 700,000 Americans
  •  It is more prevalent among adolescents and young adults between the ages of 15 and 35.
  • 5% to 20% of affected individuals have a first – degree relative (parents, child, or sibling) with one of the diseases
My step mom has this disease and it sometime effects time with family. We could raise awareness by walking in a national wide walk for crohns disease to raise money for  support patient programs, enhances professional education efforts, and propels critical research for cures.

If you would like to learn more about Crohns go to http://www.ccfa.org/
Even if you aren't a Harry Potter fan this is super funny!!

Dessert Dance!!

This is a blog for my classmates to read. I think that the theme for the dessert dance should be glow in the dark. I think that this would be a very fun theme to do. We could use glow sticks around the photo booth and a black light above it. It wouldn't be to hard to dress up for either because you could wear white or neon colors which i think would be very fun.

What i would do to help is i would decorate and bring a dessert that had neon frosting on it.
We need a bigger swimming pool. This is so cute! I love dogs  especially puppies. Who doesn't like puppies? They are so cute and so small. :)
My name is Cheyenne and i have to make a blog for my computer class. My blog will be about random funny stuff that might make you smile or laugh. To start out with i will tell a little bit about my self. I play three sports which are volleyball, basketball, and volleyball. Lets just say  i'm a HUGE fan of Justin Bieber and i am a little obsessed. My favorite color is purple and I love neon colors, and that's a little about my self.
